Our 100% Pure Organic Ontario Maple Syrup is produced in partnership with a 3rd generation family run farm in Algonquin, Ontario. Sourced from a single forest, our organic maple syrup is unblended and traditionally crafted in small batches.

 Deliciously sweet with a rich complex flavour, our maple syrup is perfect for pouring on pancakes or using in recipes in place of refined sugar.

WHY OUR MAPLE SYRUP?

Single Source

Most maple syrup is a blend from numerous farms and produced by larger packers.  Completely opposite to this method, Alderwood Farms 100% Pure Organic Ontario Maple Syrup is sourced from only one farm located in Ontario.  The result is a pure, single source, unblended, and delicious organic maple syrup.

True Craftsmanship

We prepare our maple syrup in small batches using artisanal methods carried down three generations.  The same traditional and sustainable sap-to-syrup methods used 100 years ago are still used, and with the food preparation standards of today.

LOCAL

Our 100% Pure Organic Ontario Maple Syrup is produced from the sap of maple trees located in a family run 3rdgeneration farm in Southern Ontario.  As our maple syrup travels only from the Algonquin area to stores across Ontario, our maple syrup is truly local.

 

Health conscious

Our maple syrup can easily be substituted in recipes in place of refined sugar, and with the added bonus of antioxidant plant nutrients (one study found 67 different antioxidants, 9 of which are unique to maple syrup), vitamins (like riboflavin and thiamin) and minerals (like calcium, potassium, iron, zinc, and manganese).  Maple syrup is also lower than refined sugar on the glycemic index, yet tends to be sweeter, so you can use less.

As with all of our Alderwood Farms product, quality is of utmost importance to us.  Our 100% Pure Organic Ontario Maple Syrup meets the Canada Grade A standard, has a lovely Amber colour, and a rich and complex flavour.
